Mental Health (Discrimination) Bill [HL] Lord Stevenson of Coddenham presented a bill to make provision about discrimination against people on the grounds of their mental health. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 13)
Marine Navigation Bill [HL] Lord Berkeley presented a bill to make provision about marine navigation. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 14)
Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Further Provisions and Support for Victims) Bill [HL] Lord McColl of Dulwich presented a bill to make provision about human trafficking offences and exploitation, and about measures to prevent and combat human trafficking and provision of support for victims. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 15)
Extension of Franchise (House of Lords) Bill [HL] Baroness Gould of Potternewton presented a bill on behalf of Lord Dubs to make provision for members of the House of Lords to vote at elections to the House of Commons. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 16)
10  Standing Orders (Public Business) Lord Strathclyde moved that the standing orders relating to public business be amended as follows:
Standing Order 64 (Sessional Committees )
Leave out "Merits of Statutory Instruments Committee" and insert "Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee".
The motion was agreed to and the amendment was ordered to be published. (HL Paper 4)
11 Automatic Enrolment (Earnings Trigger and Qualifying Earnings Band) Order 2012 Lord Freud moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
12 Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 (Amendment) Order 2012 Lord McNally moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
13 Greater London Authority Act 1999 (Amendment) Order 2012 Earl Howe moved that the draft Order be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
14 Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 Earl Howe moved that the draft Regulations be referred to a Grand Committee. The motion was agreed to.
15  Queen’s Speech The debate on the motion that a Humble Address be presented to Her Majesty was resumed and, after further debate, was again adjourned until Wednesday 16 May.
