Statement on social care funding

Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt, made a statement in the House of Commons on social care funding in England on Monday 11 February 2013

House of Commons Library analysis

The House of Commons Library produces briefing papers to inform MPs of key issues. The papers contain factual information and a range of opinions on each subject, and aim to be politically impartial.

The Library has published a briefing paper providing a brief history of the proposals to reform the system of adult social care including information on the Coalition Government’s Caring for our future white paper and the accompanying progress report on funding reform published on 11 July 2012.
