Parliament to open to the public on Saturdays

From 3 July Parliament will be open to the public every Saturday for guided tours.

Tours take about 75 minutes and include the Commons and Lords Chambers, the Queen's Robing Room, the Royal Gallery and Westminster Hall.

Opening Hours

Saturdays from 3rd July onwards between 9.15am and 4.30pm.

Tickets are available to buy online through Ticketmaster (external website) or by phoning 0844 847 1672. Groups of 10+ should phone 0844 847 2498. The route visitors take through Parliament on Saturdays is identical to the tours run during the week.

Security information

To ensure that Parliament remains accessible to the public we have implemented some simple security guidelines. Please take note of them before and during your visit.

  • Searches, similar to those used in airports, will be conducted on entry.
  • Mobile phones must be turned off.
  • Cameras cannot be used, except in Westminster Hall.
