Ms Harman said that these allegations had involved:

• the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in respect of food labelling
• the Department for Transport in respect of National Express and the east coast main line
• a Department of Health (DoH) decision in respect of DoH's advisory group for a programme board for people with mental health problems and learning difficulties

She told the House that the various permanent secretaries involved had now made inquiries, and assured the Cabinet Secretary that they were satisfied that there had been no improper influence on Government policy or ministerial decisions.
