MPs debate Afghanistan strategy in Westminster Hall

09 December 2009

Paul Flynn, Labour MP for Newport West, introduced a debate in Westminster Hall on the Government's strategy in Afghanistan. Ivan Lewis, Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, responded to the debate

Westminster Hall adjournment debates allow MPs to consider issues of local or personal interest which rarely have time to be debated in the main Chamber of the House of Commons. MPs can discuss a variety of issues and receive a response from a government Minister.
