Statement on European Council in Brussels

03 November 2009

Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, made a Commons statement on the outcome of the recent European Council in Brussels, including action on tackling climate change

Oral statements are made after Question Time (or at 11.00 am on a Friday). The statements usually relate to matters of policy or government actions.

At the end of a statement MPs can respond or question the government minister on its contents.
