The House of Lords European Union Sub-Committee on Social Policy and Consumer Affairs takes evidence at 9.40 am from Gareth Thomas, Minister for Trade, Development and Consumer Affairs at the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, as part of its inquiry into the issues raised by the EU Commission's proposal for a Directive on consumer rights
