Postal Services Bill: committee stage

Committee stage - line by line examination - of the Postal Services Bill in the Lords concluded with discussion of the scope of the universal postal service and more on 27 April. Changes were suggested which covered clauses 36-48 of the Bill

The Bill moves to report stage - a further chance to examine the Bill and make changes - on 11 May. Every suggested change can be discussed and votes can happen. Any Member of the Lords can take part.

The Postal Services Bill makes provision for the restructuring of Royal Mail Group and other related issues.
