The Royal Mail pension plan and the regulation of the postal service were the subject of discussion in the Lords during the third day of committee stage of the Postal Services Bill on 20 April. Suggested changes covered clauses 20-33 of the Bill
Further line by line examination of the Bill takes place in committee stage on 22 April. Every suggested change can be discussed and votes can happen. Any Member of the Lords can take part.
The Postal Services Bill makes provision for the restructuring of Royal Mail Group and other related issues.
