Statement on Freedom of Information Act

Lord Bach, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice, repeated the statement on the Freedom of Information Act and the decision not to release minutes from Cabinet meetings held in 2003, before the start of the conflict in Iraq

Oral statements often address major incidents, policies and actions.

In the House of Lords, up to 20 minutes is permitted for discussion of the statement by Members.
