Work and Pensions Secretary gives evidence

The Work and Pensions Committee questions James Purnell, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, on the response of his Department to the economic downturn, and the implications for welfare reform. Watch from 9.30am.

The Committee will also hear from John Philpot, Chief Economist, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
