Insolvency Service evidence session

Each year the Business and Enterprise Committee scrutinises at least one of the associated public bodies of the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR). In November 2008 the Committee announced it would hold an evidence session with the Insolvency Service. Watch from 10.30am.

Committee Chairman, Peter Luff said:

“Insolvencies are increasing at an alarming rate. Given the current economic situation, it is timely to look at the Insolvency Service, both to assure ourselves of its efficiency and to raise any concerns about underlying policy.”
