Further to the announcement of this inquiry by Press Notice No. 18 on 22 July 2004, dates for the oral evidence sessions will be as follows:

WEDNESDAY 20 OCTOBER, HOUSE OF COMMONS

WEDNESDAY 27 OCTOBER, HOUSE OF COMMONS

3. 00 pm    Chief Constable Barbara Wilding, South Wales Police

WEDNESDAY 3 NOVEMBER, HOUSE OF COMMONS

9.45 am    Chief Constable Richard Brunstrom, North Wales Police

3.00 pm    Chief Constable Mike Tonge, Gwent Police

The meetings will be open to the public.  They will take place in a Committee Room either in the Palace of Westminster or in Portcullis House or otherwise stated.  Those wishing to attend should confirm the venue by calling the House of Commons Committee Information Line on 020 7219 2033 on the day before the hearing.
