EXCISE DUTY FRAUD:
PUBLICATION OF FOURTH REPORT
The Treasury Committee will publish its Fourth Report, Excise Duty Fraud (HC 126) on Tuesday 15 March at 00.01 hours. Embargoed copies of the Report will be available to witnesses, government departments and accredited members of the press from 11 am until noon on Monday 14 March at the Reception Desk at 7 Millbank, London SW1P 3JA. Copies will also be available in the Press Gallery, House of Commons from 11 am.
The Report examines the level of excise duty fraud and Customs' strategies for tackling tobacco smuggling, alcohol fraud and oils fraud.
Michael Fallon MP, the Chairman of the Treasury Sub-committee which undertook the inquiry, will be available for interview on Monday 14 March (tel: 0797 367 6506).
