Treasury Committee to take evidence from Northern Rock plc as next step in its work on Financial Stability and Transparency
As part of its continuing work under the theme of Transparency in Financial Markets and the Structure of UK Plc, the Treasury Committee will take evidence from the Chairman and Chief Executive of Northern Rock plc as part of its work on Financial Stability and Transparency as follows:

The meeting is scheduled to take place in Portcullis House. Those wishing to attend the meetings should check the venue by contacting the House of Commons Public Information Office on 020 7219 4272 on the day before the hearing.
The Committee also expects to take evidence in due course from HM Treasury in relation to Financial Stability and Transparency.
The Committee expects in mid-October to invite written evidence for a broader inquiry with detailed terms of reference arising from its initial work on Financial Stability and Transparency, and at that time the Committee will also make a further announcement about the next stage of its inquiry into Private Equity.
