TREASURY COMMITTEE ANNOUNCE FURTHER EVIDENCE SESSIONS FOR BANKING CRISIS INQUIRY

As part of its inquiry into the Banking Crisis the Treasury Committee will take evidence as follows:

Wednesday 25 February, Wilson Room, Portcullis House, at 2.30pm

  • Loretta Minghella, Chief Executive, Financial Services Compensation Scheme

Thursday 26 February, Grimond Room, Portcullis House, at 10.30am

Session with the Bank of England

  • Mervyn King, Governor
  • Paul Tucker, Deputy Governor elect, Financial Stability
  • Andy Haldane, Executive Director, Financial Stability
  • Andrew Bailey, Executive Director, Banking and Chief Cashier

The evidence sessions are expected to cover a wide-range of issues relating to the Banking Crisis.
