TREASURY COMMITTEE TO TAKE EVIDENCE ON ROLE OF THE PRESS IN BANKING CRISIS

As part of its inquiry into the Banking Crisis the Treasury Committee will take evidence from representatives of the media on Wednesday 4 February.

The details of the session are as follows:

Issues likely to come up include The role of the media in financial stability and whether financial journalists should operate under any form of reporting restrictions during banking crises.
