The Treasury Committee will take evidence from the Chairman and Chief Executive of the Financial Services Authority, as part of its ongoing work under the theme Financial Stability and Transparency, as follows:

The hearing will cover topics relating to Financial Stability and Transparency, including:
• Lessons learnt by the Financial Services Authority from its regulation of Northern Rock;
• The regulation of Northern Rock as a public sector entity;
• Potential reforms to banking regulation;
• Market abuse.
