Urban Charging Schemes First Evidence Session
The Transport Committee will hold the first oral evidence session for its inquiry into Urban Charging Schemes on Wednesday 23 October. The Committee will consider several different urban charging schemes, and in particular the congestion charging scheme to be introduced into central London. The programme for the evidence session is as follows:
Wednesday 23 October
at 4.00 pm Kate Hoey, MP, Member for Vauxhall
at 4.15 pm Durham County Council, Bristol City Council and Nottingham City Council
at 4.55 pm Mr Ken Livingston, Mayor of London
at 5.15 pm Transport for London
The evidence sessions will take place in public, unless otherwise decided by the Committee. Because the meetings may be moved from the Palace of Westminster to Portcullis House, those wishing to attend the meetings should check the venue by contacting the Committee Office Information Line on 020 7219 2033 on the day before the hearings.
