1.    The Government’s Motorcycling Strategy - Government Response

The Committee considered this matter.

Draft Special Report [Government response to the Fifth Report from the Committee (The Government’s Motorcycling Strategy)], proposed by the Chairman, brought up, read the first and second time, and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Eighth Special Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the Government response to the Fifth Report from the Committee be appended to the Report.-(The Chairman.) 

2.    Draft Local Transport Bill - Specialist Adviser

The Committee considered this matter.

Resolved, That Dr Greg Marsden of Leeds University be appointed a Specialist Adviser to assist the Committee in its inquiries into the Draft Local Transport Bill.
