Resolved, That the Committee inquire into the British Transport Police as part of its inquiry into Transport Security.-(The Chairman.)

Resolved, That the Committee do visit Thames House on 1 March 2006 and Transec on 2 March 2006, in connection with its inquiry into Transport Security.-(The Chairman.)

Resolved, That the note of the visit to the Civil Aviation Authority on 12 December 2005 be annexed to the Committee's report on The Work of the Civil Aviation Authority.-(The Chairman.)

Resolved, That the note of the visits to Stratford on 17 October and 7 November 2005 and Mr David Clelland's note of his visit to Athens on 14 November 2005 be annexed to the Committee's report on Going for Gold: Delivering Excellent Transport for London's 2012 Olympic Games.-(The Chairman.)

The Work of the Civil Aviation Authority:

Sir Roy McNulty, Chairman, Mr John Arscott, Group Director of Airspace Policy, Mr Michael Bell, Group Director of Safety Regulation, and Dr Harry Bush, Group Director of Economic Regulation, the Civil Aviation Authority, gave oral evidence.

Mr John Eagles, Technical Chairman, Executive Committee, Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers Committee, Captain Mervyn Granshaw, Chairman, British Air Line Pilots Association, and Mr David Luxton, National Secretary, Prospect, gave oral evidence.
