1.    The New National Boatmasters’ Licence - Government response

The Committee considered this matter.

Draft Special Report [Government response to the Sixth Report from the Committee (The New National Boatmasters’ Licence)], proposed by the Chairman, brought up, read the first and second time, and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Tenth Special Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the Government response to the Sixth Report from the Committee be appended to the Report.-(The Chairman.) 

2.    Novice Drivers - Government response

The Committee considered this matter.

Draft Special Report [Government response to the Seventh Report from the Committee (Novice Drivers)], proposed by the Chairman, brought up, read the first and second time, and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Eleventh Special Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the Government response to the Seventh Report from the Committee be appended to the Report.-(The Chairman.) 

3.    Passengers' Experiences of Air Travel - Government response

The Committee considered this matter.

Draft Special Report [Government response to the Eighth Report from the Committee (Passengers' Experiences of Air Travel)], proposed by the Chairman, brought up, read the first and second time, and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Twelfth Special Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the Government response to the Eighth Report from the Committee be appended to the Report.-(The Chairman.) 

4.    The draft Local Transport Bill and the Transport Innovation Fund - Government response

The Committee considered this matter.

Draft Special Report [Government response to the Ninth Report from the Committee (The draft Local Transport Bill and the Transport Innovation Fund)], proposed by the Chairman, brought up, read the first and second time, and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Thirteenth Special Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the Government response to the Ninth Report from the Committee be appended to the Report.-(The Chairman.)

The Committee considered this matter.

Resolved, That Professor John Preston of Southampton University be appointed a Specialist Adviser to assist the Committee in its inquiries into ‘A Sustainable Railway: A 30-year Strategy for the Railways’.

Resolved, That the Committee inquire into the future of BAA.
