CAR INDUSTRY INQUIRY
Following its inquiry earlier this year into the UK automotive industry, and in the light of recent announcements on job losses and plant closures, the Trade and Industry Committee has decided to take oral evidence on the implications of the recent announcements for the future of the car industry in the Midlands.
The Committee intends to take oral evidence starting at 2.15 pm on Tuesday 2 November from the Transport and General Workers’ Union and Amicus trade union.
Announcements about other witnesses will be made at a later date by press notice.
