ORAL EVIDENCE SESSION on:
(1) WTO meeting at Cancun
(2) The Governments Manufacturing Strategy
Date: Wednesday 15 October 2003
The Committee will take evidence from the Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, at 4.00 pm on Wednesday 15 October in the Grimond Room, Portcullis House. The Secretary of State and Mr Mike OBrien, Minister for Trade and Investment, will give evidence on the outcome of the WTO negotiations in Cancun in September; after which the Secretary of State will also give evidence on progress in implementing the Governments Manufacturing Strategy published in May 2002.
