STRENGTHENING THE ROLE OF THE BACKBENCHER and MAKING BETTER USE OF NON-LEGISLATIVE TIME

Witnesses for public evidence session on Wednesday 9 May at 3.15pm

The House of Commons Modernisation Committee will hold its sixth evidence session on Wednesday 9 May at 3.15pm in connection with its inquiries into Strengthening the role of the backbencher and making better use of non-legislative time.

Witnesses:

Malcolm Jack, Clerk of the House, and Douglas Millar, Clerk Assistant, House of Commons

Witnesses will be questioned on both subjects. An uncorrected version of the transcript will appear on the Committee's website within about a week of the date of the session.
