STRENGTHENING THE ROLE OF THE BACKBENCHER and MAKING BETTER USE OF NON-LEGISLATIVE TIME

Witnesses for public evidence session on Wednesday 21 March at 9.35am

On 6 March the Committee announced a session with Members on Wednesday 21 March at 9.35am in connection its inquiries into Strengthening the role of the backbencher and making better use of non-legislative time.

Witnesses for this session will be:

Mr Peter Bone MP, and Jo Swinson MP;

Emily Thornberry MP, and Kitty Ussher MP (at 10.15am.)

Witnesses will be questioned on both subjects. Uncorrected versions of the transcripts will appear on the Committee's website within about a week of the date of the sessions.

This will be the third evidence session for this inquiry (28 February, uncorrected transcript available on these pages; 14 March, uncorrected transcript will appear as soon as it is available).
