Public evidence sessions

The House of Commons Modernisation Committee will hold the following public evidence sessions in connection with its inquiry into The Legislative Process:

Wednesday 10 May 9.35 a.m. Witnesses: Natascha Engel MP, David Howarth MP and Mr David Kidney MP (other witnesses may also give evidence)

Wednesday 17 May 9.35 a.m. Witnesses: Philip Cowley, Reader in Parliamentary Government, University of Nottingham; Dr Alexandra Kelso, Department of Government, University of Strathclyde;Dawn Oliver, Professor of Constitutional Law, University College London

An uncorrected version of each of the transcripts will appear on these pages within about a week of the date of the session. These are the first public evidence sessions for this inquiry.

The meetings will take place in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House. As Committee Rooms are liable to change, those attending are advised to check the room location on arrival.
