STRENGTHENING THE ROLE OF THE BACKBENCHER and MAKING BETTER USE OF NON-LEGISLATIVE TIME

Public evidence session

The House of Commons Modernisation Committee will hold the following public evidence session in connection with its inquiries into Strengthening the role of the backbencher and Making better use of non-legislative time.

Wednesday 28 February at 9.35am in Committee Room 15, Committee Corridor, Palace of Westminster

Witnesses: Peter Riddell, The Times, Nick Robinson, BBC News, and Michael White, The Guardian

This will be the first public evidence session for these inquiries and witnesses will be questioned on both subjects. An uncorrected version of the transcript will appear on the Committee's website within about a week of the date of the session.

As Committee Rooms are liable to change, those attending are advised to check the room location on arrival.
