INQUIRY: CONNECTING PARLIAMENT WITH THE PUBLIC
PUBLIC EVIDENCE SESSION
WEDNESDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2004, THATCHER ROOM, PORTCULLIS HOUSE, 3.45pm
The Committee is currently undertaking an inquiry into Connecting Parliament with the Public. The inquiry is considering issues such as the provision of information for the public via the internet and other media, Parliament’s work with schools, access to the Palace of Westminster, MPs’ communication with constituents and the accessibility of Parliamentary publications.
As part of this inquiry the Committee will hold a public oral evidence session on Wednesday 25 February in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House. The following witnesses have been invited:
Elinor Goodman, Political Editor, Channel 4 News; Peter Riddell, The Times; George Pascoe-Watson, The Sun; and Michael White, Political Editor, The Guardian
Access to Portcullis House is via the Main Entrance, opposite Victoria Embankment. As Committee Rooms are liable to change, those attending are advised to check the room location on arrival.
