Announcement 33 of Session 2007-08

The Scottish Affairs Committee would like to announce an oral evidence session on the:

The implications for the Scottish economy of the current economic climate

Wednesday 10 December 2008, 2.15 pm

Committee Room 16, Palace of Westminster

The witnesses will be:

CBI Scotland;
Professor David Bell, University of Stirling;
Scottish Trades Union Congress;
and the Scottish Chambers of Commerce

The Committee has decided to hold an evidence session addressing the economic issues currently facing Scotland. The focus of the session will be the prospects for the Scottish economy over the next year or more, how it relates to the UK’s economic future and what could be done by the UK Government to ensure that the Scottish economy performs at the highest possible level.
