Futureskills Scotland

The Committee has arranged a one-off session on Futureskills Scotland.  Evidence will be taken from Scottish Enterprise on Wednesday 20 November at 1015 in Committee Room 5 at the House of Commons.

The Work of Citizens Advice Scotland

The Committee has arranged a one-off session on The Work of Citizens Advice Scotland.  The meeting will take place at 1400 on Monday 2 December at Prentice Centre, 1 Granton Mains Avenue, Edinburgh, EH4 4GA.  Written evidence is invited from interested parties by Monday 18 November.

Homeworkers in Scotland and the Minimum Wage

The Committee has agreed to undertake an inquiry into Homeworkers in Scotland and the Minimum Wage.  The Committee will explore the degree to which awareness exists that people in low wage occupations in Scotland who work from home are entitled to the minimum wage and to what extent they receive it.  The Committee will assess how this right is monitored and enforced.  A programme of oral evidence will be announced for the New Year.  Written evidence is invited from interested parties by Monday 2 December.
