Draft Report [Proposal for the Regulatory Reform (Joint Nature Conservation Committee) Order 2005, proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

(The Minutes of Proceedings of the Committee relating to the Report are published in the First  Report from the Regulatory Reform Committee, HC (2004-05)117, p17.)

The Committee further deliberated.

Resolved, That the proposal for the Regulatory Reform (Joint Nature Conservation Committee) Order 2005, which was laid before this House on 12th October in the last Session of Parliament, should be amended before a draft Order is laid before the House.

The Committee further deliberated.

Draft Report [Proposal for the Regulatory Reform (Registration of Births and Deaths) (England and Wales) Order 2004], proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

The Committee further deliberated.

Resolved, That the order-making power under the Regulatory Reform Act 2001 should not be used in respect of the proposals contained in the proposal for the Regulatory Reform (Registration of Births and Deaths) (England and Wales) Order 2004, which was laid before the House on 22nd July.

The Committee further deliberated.
