HUTTON, FALCONER AND MOTTRAM IN PASC SPRING PROGRAMME
Leading figures give evidence on public inquiries, honours and government information
The spring programme for the House of Commons Public Administration Select Committee-PASC-includes sessions with Lord Hutton, the Lord Chancellor and the Head of the Home Civil Service.
Lord Hutton will give evidence on the future of public inquiries at 10 a.m on 13 May, while Lord Falconer will appear before the Committee on the same subject at 9.30 a.m on 4 May. Other newly-arranged sessions include one about the honours system with Sir Richard Mottram, Permanent Secretary at the Department of Work and Pensions, who also chairs the science and technology honours sub-committee. This will take place on 29 April at 9.30 a.m.
The Editor of the Daily Mail, Paul Dacre, will be joined by the Chairman of the Press Complaints Commission, Sir Christopher Meyer, to discuss the recent Phillis Report on government communications at 9.30 a.m on 25 March.
