Coastal Towns - appointment of specialist advisers

Ordered, That Fred Robinson, Professorial Fellow, St Chad’s College, Durham University, and Helen Hayes be appointed as specialist advisers for its inquiry into Coastal Towns.

Is there a future for Regional Government? - appointment of specialist advisers

Ordered, That Paul Hildreth and Peter Newman be appointed as specialist advisers for the Committee’s inquiry into Is there a Future for Regional Government?, specifically in relation to the seminar held on 18 April on Regional Governance.

ODPM Annual Report and Accounts 2005: Government Response

Draft Special Report [ Response to the First Report from the Committee in Session 2005-06 (ODPM Annual Report and Accounts 2005)], proposed by the Chairman, brought up, read the first and second time, and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Fourth Special Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman make the report to the House.

Ordered, That the Government response to the First Report from the Committee in Session 2005-06 be appended to the Report.-( The Chairman).
