ANNOUNCEMENT OF VISIT TO NORTHERN IRELAND

inquiry into

THE DRAFT PROTOCOL FOR COMMUNITY BASED  RESTORATIVE JUSTICE SCHEMES

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee has decided to visit Belfast from Monday 4th to Tuesday 5th December as part of its inquiry into the draft Protocol for Community based Restorative Justice Schemes.

On Monday 4th December, the Committee will take evidence in the Confex Centre of the Stormont Hotel.

From 2.00 pm:

Northern Ireland Alternatives: Tom Winston, Manager, Debbie Watters, Trainer, and Baroness May Blood, Board Member; and

From 3.00 pm:

Community Restorative Justice Ireland: Jim Auld, Director, and Harry Maguire.

On Tuesday 5th December, the Committee will take evidence in the Confex Centre of the Stormont Hotel.

From 10.50 am:

Sir Hugh Orde, Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland; and Drew Harris, Assistant Chief Constable with responsibility for Criminal Justice.
