The Committee also considers Public Bodies Orders and whether they meet the tests set out in the Act. (see side bar for further detail)

The Committee usually meets every Tuesday when the House is sitting and aims to publish its report the following Thursday.

The Committee will next meet on Tuesday 15 May.  The Committee will be changing its name at the start of the 2012-13 session to the Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee.
