LORDS TO QUESTION VACCINE INDUSTRY AND HEALTH PROTECTION AGENCY ABOUT FLU PREPARATIONS

The UK's contingency planning for a possible outbreak of pandemic influenza is being investigated by the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee.

Chaired by Lord Broers, the inquiry is looking at international action on flu, the supply of vaccines and anti-viral drugs, the readiness of front-line NHS services, and the need to educate the public on how to react to a pandemic.
