London Committee

The London Regional Committee's remit is "to examine the Government's regional policies for London and the Government's relationship with the Greater London Authority and regional bodies." Members were appointed to the Committee on 14 December 2010.

The Committee has concluded its work for the 2009-10 Session.

The Committee€™s report on London€™s population and the 2011 Census was published on 31 March 2010. The report, together with the oral and written evidence, is available here.

The Committee took oral evidence from the Minister for London and officials on The work of the Government Office for London on 24 February 2010. The transcript of the oral evidence, and the memorandum submitted by the Government Office for London, is available here .

The Committee took oral evidence from the National Housing Federation, Shelter, G15, the Homes and Communities Agency London and the Government Office for London on Government policy on affordable housing in London on 22 March 2010.
