Publication of First Special Report: Evidence from the Prime Minister
Evidence from the Prime Minister (First Special Report - HC 984) will be published at 11 am on Wednesday 3 July. The Special Report outlines arrangements for the evidence sessions with the Prime Minister, the first of which is to be held on Tuesday 16 July at 10.30 am. .
It describes the location of the meeting (the Boothroyd Room in Portcullis House), and the organisation of questions and themes. The Session will be available to be broadcast under the normal House arrangements, and will also be webcast via www.parliament.uk. Any broadcasting inquiries should be made to the Director of Parliament Broadcasting (0207 219 5848).

The Committee is chaired by Mr Alan Williams (Labour, Swansea West) and includes the 32 Chairmen of select committees. It is appointed to consider general matters relating to the work of select committees; to advise the House of Commons Commission on select committees; to choose select committee reports for debate in the House and, by a decision of the House on 14 May 2002, to hear evidence from the Prime Minister on matters of public policy.
