COMMITTEE REPORT ON BUILDING A BRIDGE BETWEEN SENTENCING GUIDELINES AND PARLIAMENT
The Justice Committee will publish a report at 00.01 am on Thursday 2 July looking at sentencing guidelines and the role that parliament plays in their development.
The Report, Sentencing Guidelines and Parliament: building a bridge, will be published as the Committee’s Sixth Report of 2008-09, HC 715, on Thursday 2 July 2009. Copies may be obtained from the Parliamentary Bookshop and the Stationery Office (details below) and the text will be available via the Committee’s website, www.parliament.uk/justicecom.
