PUBLICATION OF REPORT - CUTTING CRIME: THE CASE FOR JUSTICE REINVESTMENT
The Committee will publish the report of its 2-year inquiry into "Justice Reinvestment” at 00.01am on Thursday 14 January 2010.
The Committee will hold an embargoed press conference for media representatives to launch the report from 10am on Wednesday 13 January in Committee Room 6 in the Palace of Westminster.
Advance embargoed copies of this substantial report will be available in Committee Room 6 from 10am to members of the press and broadcast media only in preparation for discussion with Committee members. The formal press conference with the Committee will begin at 11am and there will also be an opportunity for embargoed interviews with Members afterwards. The report will remain under embargo until 00.01 Thursday 14 January.
