Committee Announces Forthcoming Publications:

Legislative Scrutiny: Fourteenth Progress Report

Draft Marriage Act 1949 (Remedial) Order 2006

The Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) publishes its Twenty-seventh Report of Session 2005-06, Legislative Scrutiny: Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Bill, on Thursday 12 October 2006 at 10.00 a.m. The Report will be published as House of Lords Paper 246, House of Commons Paper 1625.

The Committee's Twenty-eighth Report of the Session, Legislative Scrutiny: Fourteenth Progress Report, will be published on Friday 13 October 2006 at 10.00am. This Report deals with the Companies Bill, the Education and Inspections Bill and the Armed Forces Bill. It will be published as House of Lords Paper 247, House of Commons Paper 1626.

The Committee's Twenty-ninth Report of the Session, Draft Marriage Act 1949 (Remedial) Order 2006, will also be published on Friday 13 October 2006 at 10.00am. The Committee is required by its terms of reference to report to both Houses on remedial orders. The Report will be published as House of Lords Paper 248, House of Commons Paper 1627.
