Appendices to the Report : The Case for a Human Rights Commission
Volume II of the Sixth Report from the Joint Committee on Human Rights, The Case for a Human Rights Commission, will be published on Wednesday 26 March 2003, at 10.00 am, HL Paper 67-II/HC489-II.
In this Volume the Committee publishes written submissions it has received since the publication of its Twenty-second Report of last session relating to the inquiry into the case for a human rights commission, and the report of the research it commissioned into human rights in local and health authorities.

Scrutiny of Bills: Further Progress Report
The Seventh Report from the Joint Committee on Human Rights, Scrutiny of Bills: Further Progress Report was published on Friday 21 March 2003, as House of Lords Paper 74/House of Commons Paper 547, of Session 2002-03. This Report draws special attention to the following Bills:
- the Community Care (Delayed Discharges etc.) Bill
- the Hunting Bill
- the Crime (International Co-operation) Bill
- the Licensing Bill
- the Criminal Justice Bill
- the Sexual Offences Bill
- the Patient (Assisted Dying) Bill
The Report also lists those Bills which the Committee considers do not raise any significant human rights issues.
The Report is part of the ongoing series of reports from the Committee which examines all Bills introduced to Parliament in respect of their compliance with Convention rights and other human rights instruments.
