Joint Committee on Conventions

The Joint Committee on Conventions was established in 2006 to "to consider the practicality of codifying the key conventions on the relationship between the two Houses of Parliament which affect the consideration of legislation."

The Joint Committee held its first meeting on 23 May 2006, appointing Lord Cunningham of Felling as Chairman. The Committee published its final report on 3 November 2006.
