Following publication of the draft Mental Health Bill on 8 September (Cm 6305), the Joint Committee will continue to take oral evidence in January and February.  The Committee has to report by 31st March 2005.

In addition to the oral evidence programme the Committee will visit Broadmoor on Wednesday 9 February 2005 (no public meeting will take place on this day).
