This is the first of two evidence sessions on the DFID Annual Report 2008.

DFID has recently established the Independent Advisory Committee on Development Impact (IACDI) to increase the rigour and independence of evaluation within the Department. This session provides an opportunity to question the IACDI Chair and members about the challenges faced in conducting effective evaluation of development impact and the actions DFID should take to improve its processes.
