Pascal Lamy, Director-General of the World Trade Organization, will be giving evidence to the Committee via videolink
In October, the International Development Committee agreed to undertake an inquiry on Making Trade Work for Development: the WTO Hong Kong Ministerial. This is the final evidence session of the inquiry. The session will focus on the outcome of the Hong Kong Ministerial and the steps which need to be taken now to ensure that the Doha Development Agenda becomes a reality.
