In October, the International Development Committee agreed to undertake an inquiry on
Making Trade Work for Development: the WTO Hong Kong Ministerial, and has held 3 evidence sessions to date. The WTO Hong Kong Ministerial took place 13-18 December 2005, and the purpose of this evidence session is to establish how the Government intends to proceed in the next three months to ensure that the end of April deadline for agreeing modalities is met.
