Publication of Oral and Written Evidence taken on Iraq:

The International Development Committee recently held two evidence sessions [on Tuesday 10 June and Monday 30 June - see Press Notices 32 and 35). The Committee heard oral evidence from The Rt Hon Baroness Amos, Secretary of State for International Development, Ann Clwyd MP, Special Envoy to the Prime Minister on Human Rights Issues in Iraq, and several NGOs, and also invited written evidence. The Oral and Written Evidence from these sessions will be published on Thursday 18 September at 11.00 a.m. as the HC 780. The Committee will not be publishing a report on this subject.

Publication of Oral Evidence and Written Evidence taken on The UK Government Response to The Report of the Commission on Intellectual Property Rights:

The International Development Committee recently held a one-off evidence session,  on Tuesday 15 July, looking at the UK Government Response to The Report of the Commission on Intellectual Property Rights (see Press Notice 36). The Committee heard oral evidence from officials from the Department for International Development, the Department of Trade and Industry, and the Patent Office. The Oral Evidence and Written Evidence from this session will be published on Thursday 18 September at 11.00 a.m. as the HC 1013. The Committee will not be publishing a report on this subject.
