Iraq and Afghanistan
The International Development Committee has agreed to hold a one-off evidence session with NGOs on Iraq and Afghanistan. The evidence session is intended to update the Committee on the situation on the ground in these two countries.

Thursday 18 September, Palace of Westminster
Time: 2.30 p.m.
On Iraq, at 2.30 p.m. : CARE International; Christian Aid; Save the Children; and Amar International Charitable Foundation
On Afghanistan, at 3.30 p.m. : BAAG (British Agencies Afghanistan Group); CARE International; Christian Aid; Save the Children; and Oxfam

The Committee will not be producing a report but will publish the transcript of the session in due course.
